A highly prized fish, with a very short season. This year the season is June 1st through July 20th.These beautiful snappers are a deep sea fishing delight starting at depths around 150 feet. To reach this depth and maximize your catch we offer multi-day offshore fishing charters either 30 or 48 hours in duration. The minimum size is 16” overall and 2 per day. Due to the short season the red snapper have time to grow and the average size fish is 7-10 lbs. with some tipping the scales at 20 pounds! These multi-day charters are for the avid fisherman. On these charters you can also get a variety of other species such as red grouper, gag grouper, black grouper, yellow tail snapper, mangrove snapper, permit, african pompano, kings, sharks and the occasional black fin tuna. So grab your gear and let’s go get the big ones!
