These pelagic fish are usually singularly or in small groups. Generally found around structure and occasionally accompany large sea turtles, rays or whale sharks. Dark brown in color with three dark lateral stripes, they are known for cruising right up to the boat and are often mistaken for sharks. Minimum keeper size is 33’ to the fork of their tail and two per boat, can be kept year round. Hard fighting, fun to catch and great to eat always a winner in our book!
